We Are Not Responsible For Attack On Uzodinma’s Residence – IPOB
- The assailants in a motorcade of three vehicles had stormed Governor Uzodinma’s residence, on Saturday, in an attempt to burn down the house.
The outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has denied any involvement in the recent attack on Governor Hope Uzodinma’s country home.
The group’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful, described those linking the incident to the secessionist group as liars, stressing that neither IPOB nor the Eastern Security Network (ESN) was in any way connected to the incident.

“They are liars, and they are not saying the truth,” Powerful said while featuring on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics – a day after the attack on the governor’s house in Omuma, a community Oru East Local Government Area of the state.
He added: “They don’t want to tell the citizens that Nigeria is almost collapsing, and IPOB has decided that nothing will stop them to back out on this course for Biafra restoration.
