Global Afrobeats icons Wizkid and Asake, together with South African breakout star Tyla, have been announced as the headline performers for the Afro Nation Portugal 2026 festival.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the highly anticipated three-day event will take place from July 3 to July 5, 2026, at Praia da Rocha in the Algarve, Portugal, one of Europe’s most scenic beach locations.

Also joining the lineup are Nigerian heavyweights Olamide, Young Jonn, and Darkoo, alongside American rapper Gunna, who is billed as a special guest.
According to the organizers, the announcement follows the overwhelming success of the 2025 edition, which solidified Afro Nation Portugal as one of the leading summer music festivals dedicated to African sounds and culture.

With Wizkid, Asake, and Tyla commanding global stages and Gunna adding international flair, the 2026 edition promises to be another high-energy celebration of Afrobeats, Amapiano, and hip-hop, bringing together music lovers from across the world.
