Nigerian Afrobeat star Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has reconciled with fellow singer Reekado Banks after their long-standing feud.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that their rift began in 2020 when Wizkid publicly criticized Reekado Banks, calling him a “clout animal” for announcing the release of their collaboration, Omo Ologo, during the height of the EndSARS protests.

Wizkid condemned the move, urging Reekado to delete the post, as he felt it was insensitive given the national outcry against police brutality.
However, the two artists have now put their differences aside. They were recently spotted together in Lagos, marking their first public appearance since the fallout.
The reunion took place on Tuesday when Wizkid visited Reekado Banks’ newly launched lounge.
