In celebration of the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s resounding victory in the July 12th chairmanship and councillorship elections in Epe Local Government, a prominent political group under the party, the Upper House Forum, is set to host a grand get-together.
Ekohotblog reports that the event is scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the residence of the group’s grand patron, Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu, fondly known as the Apashe of Epe Land.

Led by Hon. Ajisefini, alongside forum executives such as Hon. G. Shanu, Alhaji Uthman (general secretary), and Alhaja F.
Oluwo (treasurer), the Upper House Forum continues to play a key role in grassroots mobilisation and the strengthening of the APC’s political structure across the division.
Speaking ahead of the gathering, Hon. Ajisefini said, “This get-together is not just about celebrating victory, it’s about reaffirming our unity and commitment to the development of Epe.”
He added, “It’s a moment of appreciation, reflection, and strategic planning for the future. We are thankful to the people of Epe for standing by the APC.”
The event is expected to attract several top political figures and party faithful. Dignitaries lined up for attendance include the Epe divisional political leader and GAC member, Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu; former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly and GAC member, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji; Rep. Wale Raji, member representing Epe federal constituency at the House of Representatives; and Hon. Abiodun Tobun, member representing Epe constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Other notable guests include Epe Local Government chairman, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun; APC state welfare secretary, Hon. Kehinde Adeniyi; commissioner of the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Seriki Ahmed; as well as respected party stalwarts like Alhaji Olamiji Alinson and Hon. Bode Alausa.
In her remarks, Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun stated, “The outcome of the election reflects the confidence the people have in us. We must continue to deliver on our promises.”
