- Target beneficiaries: aged, widows, widowers, and vulnerable groups
- House-to-house delivery to ensure transparency and fairness
Determined to cushion the effects of economic hardship on residents, the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), will on Thursday, 17th October 2025, commence the distribution of the October Monthly Food Palliatives to vulnerable members of the community.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the initiative, which aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Food Palliative Agenda, is designed to support the aged, widows, widowers, and other vulnerable individuals within the council.

This month’s distribution will be carried out house-to-house, allowing the council to personally reach out to deserving beneficiaries and ensure that relief materials get to those most in need.
Engr. Kasali emphasized that the council remains committed to improving the welfare of residents, adding that “the true measure of leadership is in the ability to touch lives directly and compassionately.”
