Nigerian Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has stirred online debate after revealing that she is open to becoming a second wife, saying most men who approach her are already married.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that speaking on the American podcast Lip Service, the award-winning singer said her dating options have become limited as she gets older, noting that many of her potential partners are either older or unavailable.

“I am like a sugar mama, but I don’t want to be,” Savage said. “If I meet someone who can really marry me, they are either in their 50s or already married. Maybe I can be a second wife. I think so.”
The Somebody’s Son hitmaker, who shares a son with her ex-husband Tunji Balogun, popularly known as TBillz, said she would have no issue living peacefully in a polygamous marriage.
“I think I can get along with the first wife, and she will love me because I will not be troublesome,” she said. “I will be going on tours and will not stress anyone. I am very respectful and will always honour her position as the first wife.”
Savage married TBillz in 2013, but their union ended in 2018 after public allegations of infidelity from both sides.
Her comments have since gone viral, sparking reactions from fans and critics who debated her views on marriage, age, and modern relationships.
