The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, in collaboration with Naija Brand Chick (NBC), has announced the mainland edition of the Lagos Tourism Naija Brand Chick Trade Fair, scheduled to hold from October 24 to 26, 2025, at the Whitestone Event Centre, Ikeja.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the fair follows the success of the Island edition held in April, which reportedly recorded over ₦1 billion in sales and attracted thousands of visitors.
Speaking ahead of the event, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr. Idris Aregbe, said the initiative underscores the state’s commitment to developing a people-driven creative economy that connects innovation, culture, and commerce across the five divisions of Lagos.
Aregbe noted that the trade fair is part of the ongoing “101 Days in Lagos” Tourism and Culture Calendar, a series of entertainment-led activities designed to stimulate tourism, boost trade, and promote citizen engagement.
“We are deliberately leveraging entertainment to drive trade, inspired by the spirit of old Lagos when markets came alive with music, performances, and community energy,” Aregbe said.
“Our goal this time is to empower between 100 and 150 vendors and help them achieve ₦5 billion in cumulative sales within three days. It’s ambitious but achievable.”

He added that extensive planning, vendor selection, and marketing coordination had gone into preparing for the event, assuring exhibitors of seamless logistics, visibility, and support.
“Our vendors have nothing to worry about except bringing their A-game. The state and Naija Brand Chick have built the framework; they only need to complement it with creativity and innovation,” he said.
The adviser emphasized that the fair would focus on accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that products remain affordable for attendees while promoting shared prosperity.
The Chief Executive Officer of Naija Brand Chick, Mrs. Nelly Agbogu, lauded the Lagos State Government for sustaining the partnership, describing the initiative as a model for public–private collaboration that supports small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
“This initiative has empowered countless entrepreneurs, boosted visibility for small businesses, and reinforced Lagos as a hub for SME growth,” Agbogu said. “We are proud of what we’ve achieved together and excited to deepen this partnership.”
The Lagos Tourism NBC Trade Fair is expected to attract thousands of visitors, create hundreds of temporary jobs, and provide a vibrant platform for entrepreneurs, investors, and local businesses to network and showcase their creativity.
