The Epe Division Professional Women Association (EPWA) has honoured Mr. Tunde Thanni Oladunjoye, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Thanni Oladunjoye Old People’s Centre, for his outstanding contributions to community development and his remarkable dedication to the well-being of old people in the Epe community.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the recognition came during EPWA’s 10th Anniversary Celebration, where distinguished individuals who have made visible impact in society were celebrated.
Mr. Oladunjoye was described as a humanitarian whose compassion has touched hundreds of lives through his commitment to supporting and caring for the aged.
Speaking at the event, the President of EPWA, Mrs. Folake Oluyemi Johnson, commended him for his selfless efforts. “Mr. Oladunjoye is an example of true service to humanity.
His love and care for the old in our community reflect genuine compassion and leadership,” she said.

In his remarks, Mr. Oladunjoye expressed appreciation to the association for the recognition and shared the inspiration behind the establishment of his centre.
“I realized that many old people are forgotten by their families and society. That was why I started the centre — to make them feel seen, loved, and valued,” he said.
He revealed that the centre currently caters to more than 2,000 old people, offering them regular medical check-ups, surgical treatment, and social activities such as excursions and recreational gatherings.
“We prioritize their health and happiness because everyone deserves dignity and care, regardless of age,” he added.
Mr. Oladunjoye also praised EPWA for aligning with his mission, especially through their donation of medical kits and other essentials to the centre.
“EPWA has been a strong pillar of support. They are doing what God expects of every privileged person, touching lives and making others feel loved,” he stated.
He further urged other women and community leaders in Epe Division to emulate EPWA’s humanitarian spirit.
