- Road construction set to begin in four key areas, adding to over 20 completed roads
- ₦90m+ grants and skills empowerment benefiting market women, cooperatives, and youths
The Federal Lawmaker representing Epe Federal Constituency, Hon. Wale Tasir Raji, has announced plans to allocate about 400 newly constructed shops to residents free of charge as part of his ongoing grassroots empowerment initiatives.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Raji also disclosed that the construction of four additional roads within Epe township will begin shortly, reinforcing his commitment to infrastructural growth and improved living standards for constituents.
This was contained in a statement issued by his media office on Monday, which noted that the latest initiatives are targeted at easing economic hardship, promoting community peace, strengthening security, and fostering sustainable growth across Epe.
Speaking during the inauguration of a building named after the late AIG Ganiyu Agbaje in Oke-Oyibo, Epe, Raji emphasized the essence of people–focused leadership, noting that legislative representation must reflect real benefits in the lives of citizens.

He highlighted that more than 20 community roads had already been completed across the constituency, even as four others in Kula Nla, Olooto, Komaadan, and Mafowosofo are set for commissioning.
The lawmaker further revealed that over ₦90 million had been disbursed in grants to empower more than 1,100 market women and 1,280 cooperative members, with many youths trained in vocational skills, food processing, and renewable energy.
“Commerce has been strengthened through the construction of over 900 market stalls across the constituency in Mowowale, Ito-Ikin, Mojoda, Aladepekun, and Pobo, offering traders dignity and safety.”
He added that the new 400 shops would be distributed to beneficiaries in November, stressing his commitment to grassroots opportunity creation and inclusive development.
“Each of these projects underscores our vision to bring governance closer to the people, empower the industrious, and make Epe a model of inclusive growth,” he said.
