Beyond a routine registration process, the digital exercise is being widely described by stakeholders as a foundation for transparency, unity, and sustainable internal democracy within the party.
Across wards in Epe and Eredo LCDA, registration centres have recorded steady turnout as party faithful, first-time voters, youths, women, and community leaders embrace the digital system designed to replace the old paper-based method.
Party officials say the process has improved accuracy, reduced duplication, and restored confidence among members who now feel properly recognized and included.
The Aladeshoyin and Paramount Ruler of Odo-Noforija Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Alaiyeluwa Oba (Dr.) Babatunde (JP, FMBE) Olaogun Ogunlaja, a respected monarch in Eredo LCDA and Epe at large, has openly lent his moral support to the exercise, describing it as a tool for order and collective progress.

According to the monarch, “Any system that promotes order, unity, and proper identification of people will always strengthen society. This registration is important for peace, progress, and inclusiveness.”
Community observers say his stance has encouraged wider acceptance of the exercise among residents.
The Eredo Apex Leader, Mrs. Stella Oladunjoye, has also played a visible mobilization role, especially at the grassroots. She described the E-Registration as a turning point for internal party cohesion, noting that proper documentation would eliminate distrust and exclusion.
“This exercise gives every genuine member a sense of belonging. When people are properly registered, fairness and unity naturally follow,” she said.
From the Epe Local Government, Hon. Kazeem Oniga emphasized that the digital registration is strategic to the party’s long-term planning. “A credible membership register helps the party plan better, mobilize effectively, and avoid unnecessary internal conflicts.
This is how a serious political party prepares for the future,” he stated.
In Eredo LCDA, Hon. Mary Ogunsanya and Hon. Hammed Johnson have continued to sensitize residents on the wider implications of the exercise. Hon. Ogunsanya explained that the registration is not merely administrative.
“This is about credibility and accountability. Only registered members can fully participate in party congresses and primaries, and that is how internal democracy is strengthened,” she said. Hon. Johnson added that “E-Registration is the gateway to relevance.
If you want to be heard and counted, you must be registered.”
A notable outcome of the exercise has been the steady influx of supporters from other political parties.
At several registration points, defectors were seen formally joining the APC, a development party leaders attribute to growing confidence in the party’s leadership and direction in Epe.
A party stakeholder observed that “the number of people coming from other parties shows that APC continues to gain trust at the grassroots.”
Political analysts say the E-Registration exercise is already reshaping grassroots politics in Epe by redefining loyalty, participation, and legitimacy within the party.
With a verifiable database, internal disputes over membership are expected to reduce, while planning and mobilization for future elections become more coordinated.
As the exercise continues, leaders and stakeholders are urging all APC supporters and new entrants in Epe Division to participate fully, stressing that the process is not just about registration, but about building a united, credible, and forward-looking political structure capable of meeting future challenges.
