Eko Hot Blog reports that in a statement released after the ceremony, the group expressed gratitude to God and commended leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their support and leadership within the council area.
The group specifically acknowledged the role of the APC Apex Leader in Eredo, Wasiu Ayo Odeyemi, and the member representing Epe Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Sylvester Ogunkelu, for their guidance and encouragement.
They also appreciated the leadership of the Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area, Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, describing his administration as one committed to development and progress in the council.
According to the statement, the movement remains focused on contributing positively to the growth of the community rather than pursuing personal interests.
“We are a youth-driven movement whose core value is progress. We are not opportunists but individuals who have prepared and positioned ourselves to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of our community.”
The group assured residents that their principal, Wariz, would remain committed to delivering quality service in his new role as Supervisor for Special Duties.
“As our principal assumes office as Supervisor for Special Duties, we assure the good people of Eredo LCDA of our unwavering commitment to service and development.”
They further pledged continued dedication to supporting initiatives that promote development within the council and the wider Epe Division.
The group also expressed appreciation to residents for their support and trust, noting that the newly sworn-in supervisor values the confidence reposed in him.
“Our principal holds the support of the people in the highest regard and will always work in the best interest of the community.”
The statement concluded with prayers for continued unity, progress and development across Eredo, Epe Division, Lagos State and Nigeria.
