According to him, the gathering was not only to celebrate Tinubu but also to pray for his continued health, wisdom, and success, as well as for Nigeria’s peace, unity, and development.
Describing the President as a pragmatic and visionary leader, Obasa said the policies under the Renewed Hope Agenda are already reshaping the country’s socio-economic landscape.
He pointed to key reforms such as the removal of fuel subsidy, which he said has boosted state revenues, and the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFund), describing it as a major step toward expanding access to higher education.
Obasa also highlighted the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway as a transformative infrastructure project with the potential to drive economic growth and tourism across the country.
He further commended First Lady Oluremi Tinubu for her Renewed Hope Initiative, noting its impact through food support, women-focused agricultural programmes, economic empowerment, and digital learning centres.
“President Tinubu’s achievements so far clearly position him for another term, and Nigerians must remain steadfast in their support,” Obasa said, urging voters to back the President and candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
In his remarks, former Lagos State governor Akinwunmi Ambode also endorsed Tinubu’s leadership, calling on Nigerians to rally behind his re-election bid.
“President Tinubu’s commitment to Nigeria’s progress is commendable, and it is our collective duty to support him so that the nation can fully reap the benefits of his reforms,” Ambode said.

Similarly, Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Tayo Ayinde, praised the President’s efforts in stabilising and repositioning the economy, praying for continued wisdom and strength for him.
Other speakers at the event, including Stephen Ogundipe and Lanre Ogunyemi, also urged Nigerians to celebrate Tinubu’s achievements and sustain their support for his administration.
The event drew political leaders, party faithful, community stakeholders, and religious clerics from across Lagos State, reflecting growing political momentum around the President’s second-term prospects.
