The freed prisoners included 69 women and 21 teenage boys, some as young as 12, with prominent figures such as Khalida Jarrar, a leading member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, among them.
This release occurred just hours after the release of three Israeli captives in Gaza. Bushra al-Tawil, a Palestinian journalist who had been imprisoned in Israel, was also among those freed and shared her emotional journey.
Many attendees of the welcoming event in Ramallah expressed solidarity with the freed prisoners, highlighting the emotional and symbolic significance of the release.
