BREAKING: Aggrieved Poly Students Block Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway
- Aggrieved polytechnic students have reportedly blocked the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
Motorists were on Wednesday stranded as the aggrieved students of D S Adegbenro Polytechnic, Itori, Ogun State blocked the Abeokuta-Lagos Expressway, EKO HOT BLOG has gathered.
The protest by the poly students led to traffic gridlock as many travellers were stranded for hours.
Both sides of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway were reportedly blocked by the protesting students on Wednesday.
It was gathered that the students were protesting against the management of the school for not allowing their colleagues to write exams.

It was further learnt that the students blocked the school gate as they prevented the staff and lecturers from gaining entrance into the school.
An eyewitness disclosed that the aggrieved students failed to allow any entrance by anybody, except those who came into the campus early.
It was learnt that the management of the polytechnic disallowed some of the students from writing exam on Tuesday for not meeting up to 75 per cent attendance.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the protest was confirmed by the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Yinka Adegbite, noting that the management was making moves to resolve the matter.
