The report suggests that Edwards has been tracking Osimhen’s progress since his early European days in Belgium and France, with Liverpool’s recruitment team particularly impressed by his current form in Turkey, where he has netted 13 goals and registered five assists in just 16 appearances.
Osimhen’s future remains uncertain after a public dispute with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who recently expressed frustration at the striker’s decision to turn down a January move to Manchester United.
