The Super Eagles of Nigeria were denied a victory by a late Poland equaliser as both sides settled for a 2-2 draw in an entertaining international friendly played on Tuesday, June 3.
Nigeria made a positive start to the encounter and deservedly took the lead in the 25th minute through Moses Simon, who finished a well-worked move created by Terem Moffi.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the visitors continued to threaten but were pegged back in first-half stoppage time when Kacper Potulski rose to head home a cross from Nicola Zalewski, sending the teams into the break level at 1-1.
Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle made several changes at halftime, introducing seven substitutes in a bid to inject fresh energy into his side.
The tactical adjustments paid off as Nigeria regained control of the contest and created a number of promising opportunities in the second half.
Their efforts were rewarded in the 77th minute after a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review led to the award of a penalty. Paul Onuachu stepped up and calmly converted from the spot to restore Nigeria’s lead.
With the Super Eagles appearing set for another victory under Chelle, Poland struck a dramatic blow deep into stoppage time.
In the fifth minute of added time, Pawel Wiśniewski found the back of the net from close range after being set up by Nikodem Wojtuszek, rescuing a draw for the hosts and denying Nigeria all three points.
The closing stages of the match were fiercely contested, with Raphael Onyedika and Robert Lewandowski both receiving yellow cards in the 80th minute.

Despite producing an impressive attacking display and controlling large periods of the game, Nigeria were unable to hold on to their advantage as Poland snatched a late equaliser.
The result means the Super Eagles remain unbeaten under Eric Chelle, extending their current run to six matches.
