The grieving mother, identified by her X handle @AbiaPrincess_X, shared the heartbreaking news online, demanding clarity on the cause of her daughter’s death.
Initial reports indicated that the child drowned in the school’s swimming pool.
However, the mother suspects foul play, alleging the child was electrocuted and placed in the pool to disguise the actual cause.
In a post, the mother questioned how her daughter could have climbed the barricade surrounding the pool and shared a photo of the area.
She warned other parents about the school and called for justice, stating, “I lost my Pinky Ella.”

Responding swiftly, Lagos State’s Permanent Secretary for the Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, Mrs. Titilayo Adeniyi-Vivour, expressed condolences and assured the family of a thorough probe.
“We are so sorry for your loss. Thank you for bringing this to our notice,” she said, pledging full support in the investigation.
The Lagos State Task Force on Safeguarding and Child Protection, along with other agencies, has already visited the school for a fact-finding mission.
Authorities have also involved the police at Ogombo and the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti to ensure a comprehensive criminal investigation.
