Napoli Prepares For Osimhen’s Return As Saudi Offer Looms

Al Hilal’s €50m per season offer could decide his future.

No firm offers yet from Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool or Galatasaray.
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is expected to return to Napoli for pre-season training as uncertainty continues to surround his future, following increasing transfer speculations.
Osimhen, who is currently enjoying his holiday in Lagos, Nigeria, spent last season on loan at Turkish side Galatasaray, where he delivered an outstanding performance. The 26-year-old finished the campaign as the top scorer in the Turkish league, helping Galatasaray win the league title and another domestic trophy.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Nigerian international recorded 37 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions for the Turkish champions.
His impressive form has attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Juventus, and Galatasaray, who are all keen on securing his services on a permanent deal. However, no concrete progress has been made by any of these clubs.
Meanwhile, Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal appear to be the most serious contender for Osimhen’s signature. Despite rejecting multiple offers from Al Hilal, reports indicate that the Saudi club is preparing to table a fresh bid that could see Osimhen earn €50 million per season.
Transfer expert Armando Areniello reported via ArenaNapoli that Osimhen is now closer than ever to leaving Napoli, adding that negotiations are ongoing with the Italian side, with a possible transfer fee between €60 million and €65 million.
Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss, Ivan Zazzaroni, editor of Corriere dello Sport, claimed the deal is nearly done. He said, “Victor Osimhen will go to Al Hilal. No club can match their offer, not even half of it. €40 million a year is too much to ignore. Galatasaray cannot afford it, and there have been no offers from the Premier League. It would be a surprise if he didn’t go there.”
Despite Al Hilal’s expected offer, Napoli are reportedly preparing to reintegrate Osimhen into their squad. According to La Repubblica, the club will soon send an official letter asking him to resume training. His loan agreement with Galatasaray is set to officially expire at midnight on Monday.

If no transfer materializes before then, Osimhen is expected to return to training with Napoli at the Castel Volturno Sports Centre on July 15, 2025.
