In an interview, Ajayi admitted to killing Salome, stating that it was not premeditated but driven by feelings of betrayal. “I killed her because we don’t have each other all the time. It’s not something I planned,” he said, claiming he acted out of jealousy after reading messages on her phone that suggested infidelity.

When asked if he regretted his actions, Ajayi responded, “No, I don’t have any regrets. Life is reciprocal. If you must do something to someone, you should understand what they are going through. That’s why I don’t feel regret because we were actually compatible.”
The case continues as the court deliberates on the charges against the suspect.
