AL-Iman International and Dawah Centers recently opened a new mosque and a 12-classroom project at their Nigerian headquarters in Ayekale, Osogbo, Osun State.

The event was held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Islamic center.
It featured the graduation of 34 students from the Al-Iman Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies, an award ceremony, the turbaning of Islamic scholars, and a book launch.

Reports gathered by EkoHotBlog show that the new ultra-modern mosque project was first commissioned on October 3, 2020, and is supported by an international organization led by Alhaja Wakilat Omowunmi Tantolorun, the founder and CEO of Al-Iman Worldwide and Ameerah Al-Iman Prayer Group.
Alhaja Wakilat Omowunmi Tantolorun, in her speech, acknowledged Almighty Allah for the completion of the Al-Iman Nigerian Headquarters, while she also appreciated the efforts of those who supported the project.

She also cited the numerous achievements of Al-Iman over the years; these include the building of Al-Iman and Dawah centers in Osogbo, the provision of boreholes, the donation of Qurans in thousands of numbers, the provision of food stuffs to Nigerian correctional centers and orphanage homes, the sponsorship of western education examinations, Hajj sponsorship, Ramadan special packages, western education sponsorship, the establishment of tuition-free Islamic studies, and others.
Many Islamic scholars praised the newly built mosque.

Speaking with EkoHotBlog, Imam Folorunsho Fagba, a guest from Lagos, described it as a great achievement for Islam. He congratulated Alhaja Wakilat for her dedication to the mosque project.
“I am here purposely for the installation of the chief imam and the opening of the new mosque, and I want to use this medium to congratulate our mother in Islam, Alhaja Wakilat, for this great achievement in Islam.” He said.
Alhaji Sheik Ashimiyu Suliamon Abimbola, the Chief Imam of Alagbole Central Mosque and an award recipient, also commended her contributions.

‘’Alhaja Wakilat provides the learners with uniform, lunch and transportation to the Islamic studies center, which serves an encouragement to learners; only God can reward her.’’ He said.

The Al-Iman is an Islamic network with various programs across the globe, including the Al-Iman Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies, a tuition-free school currently with over 400 students.
