The Oloja of Epe Kingdom, Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, organized a large-scale medical mission and palliative distribution to commemorate his 80th birthday and 25th coronation anniversary. In a grand show of generosity and commitment to his people.
Ekohotblog reports that the event, which took place at the Epe General Hospital, brought together thousands of beneficiaries from across Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ikosi-Ejinrin, and Eredo LCDA, providing them with free medical check-ups, medications, and food packages to support their health and well-being.

The medical outreach featured various health services, including eye check-ups, blood pressure tests, sugar level tests, HIV tests, and general medical consultations.
Beneficiaries also received free medications, reading glasses, and health counseling to help them manage existing conditions and prevent future health issues.
Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, Alhaja Aminat Shabi described Oba Kamorudeen as a king who consistently prioritizes the welfare of his people.
She noted that both the monarch and his daughter, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, have always been committed to improving the lives of their people.
“This is not the first time Kabiyesi has done this, but today’s event is special. He ensured that people not only received free medical attention and medications but also food to support them while on treatment.
It is a demonstration of his deep concern for his people’s well-being,” she said.
The event was graced by prominent traditional rulers, including Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja, the Aladeshonyin of Odo-Noforija; Oba Adesina Adebowale, the Omola of Odomola; and Oba Ayodele Aliru, the Adedewuraka of Poka Land. Other dignitaries present included Hon. Segun Agbaje and several respected figures from across Lagos State.
Traditional rulers present took turns to praise Oba Kamorudeen for his selflessness and commitment to the welfare of his people.
Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja, the Aladeshonyin of Odo-Noforija, lauded the monarch’s leadership and humanitarian efforts, describing his reign as one that has brought peace and development to Epe.
“Kabiyesi has been a blessing to Epe and beyond. His reign has been marked by peace, development, and selfless service to the people. We pray that he continues to rule with wisdom and grace,” he said.
Oba Adesina Adebowale of Odomola also commended the Oloja for his philanthropic gestures, saying, “This medical mission is a testament to the Oloja’s commitment to his people.
Many lives have been touched today, and we pray for his continued reign in good health and prosperity.”
Oba Ayodele Aliru, the Adedewuraka of Poka, added that the Oloja’s reign has been instrumental in strengthen unity and progress in Epe.
“He is a father to all, and we appreciate his efforts in ensuring that the well-being of his people is a top priority,” he said.
Beneficiaries of the outreach expressed deep gratitude for the initiative. Mrs. Adebimpe Ogundipe, a resident of Eredo LCDA, said, “I got free medical tests and medication today, and I also received foodstuffs.
