Eko Hot Blog reports that Legendary Hollywood actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, were found dead in their New Mexico home on Wednesday, authorities confirmed.

Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza reported that the couple was discovered in their residence in Santa Fe, but there were no immediate signs of foul play.

Hackman, 95, was an Academy Award-winning actor best known for his roles in The French Connection, Unforgiven, and Hoosiers. His decades-long career earned him two Oscars and widespread recognition as one of Hollywood’s greatest actors.
His wife, Betsy Arakawa, 62, was a former pianist and businesswoman. The couple had been married since 1991 and lived a quiet life away from the spotlight in New Mexico.

Authorities have not yet revealed the cause of death, and an investigation is underway. More details are expected following autopsy results.
