The Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, represented by Magajin Garin Gwandu, Alhaji Aminullahi Umar, served as the Waliy (guardian) for the brides.
National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, acted as the Wakil (representative) for the grooms, facilitating marriage contracts.

Governor Idris commended his wife, Hajiya Nafisa Nasir Idris, for organizing the event through her NANAS Foundation, with support from the government.

Each couple received complete room furniture, including beds, beddings, and household utensils, free of charge.
