The political landscape in Eredo LCDA witnessed a significant shift yesterday as former Eredo LCDA Chairman and Executive Director of LAGRIDE, Otunba Adeniyi Saliu, received Hon. Akeem Adenuga, the 2025 PDP Chairmanship Candidate for Eredo LCDA, and Mr. Azeez Sulaiman, former PDP Ward H1 Chairman, ahead of their official defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Eko Hot Blog reports that the defection, which was accompanied by hundreds of supporters from across the local council, is seen as a major boost for the APC in Eredo LCDA ahead of the 2027 general elections.
