President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Nigeria today, Wednesday, for a short working visit to Paris, France.
In a statement released in Abuja, Tinubu’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, explained that the president will use this trip to assess the progress of his administration at the midpoint of his tenure.

This review will focus on key milestones achieved so far, as well as areas that need improvement.

According to Onanuga, the president will also take time to reflect on ongoing reforms and plan strategically for the next phase of governance.
His goal is to strengthen these reforms and accelerate national development efforts in the coming year.
Despite being away, Tinubu will remain actively engaged with his team, making decisions and providing leadership remotely.
