- HRM. Oba Lukman Olayeni Arowolo Adebambo hosted the 12th Araromi Children’s Day Fiesta, which included a march past, cultural displays, games, children’s cosplay of the famous Imale-Igodo masquerade, and prize-giving.
- The celebration promoted community bonding and cultural enrichment by creating an atmosphere of fun, excitement, cultural recognition, and community engagement.
- In recognition of their efforts, Oba Lukman bestowed chieftaincy titles on dedicated community members and gave exceptional students academic materials.
HRM. Oba Olayeni Arowolo Adebambo, the Gbadewolu of Araromi Oguntimehin Kingdom, hosted several schools and children for the 12th annual Araromi Children’s Day celebration on May 27, 2025.
According to EKOHOTBLOG, the annual event in Araromi began on May 27, 2013, and was originated by the paramount ruler, Oba Alayeluwa Olayeni Arowolo Adebambo.
With the aim to foster communal love and appreciation for children and youths of Araromi Oguntimehin kingdom, the event is now held yearly, featuring a lot of fun moments, including march past and cultural exhibitions.
