The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), under the leadership of Abike Dabiri-Erewa, is spearheading the launch of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation United Kingdom branch (NIDOUK) South Foundation in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the aim is to enhance the contributions of Nigerians living abroad towards the socio-economic development of their homeland.

The launch event according to the Organisation’s General Secretary, Abimbola Oluwasona MBE is set to take place on June 21, 2025, at the Capthorn Tara Hotels in Kensington, London
With the support of Ambassador Muhammed Maidugu and notable figures such as Dr. Adetoro Omotoye, Sir Chibuzo Ubochi, and Hon. Niyi Zaccheaus, the NIDOUK South Foundation will serve as a platform for the diaspora community to engage in homeland development initiatives.
