President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Thursday, commissioned several major development initiatives in Kaduna State, highlighting the administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure, expanding healthcare access, and promoting youth empowerment.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the projects was spearheaded by Governor Uba Sani’s administration, and span various sectors, including a newly built 300-bed hospital, extensive road networks, three vocational training institutes, and the rollout of 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses to modernise the state’s transport system.

As part of the visit, the president officially inaugurated vocational training and skills development centres in Rigachikun, Soba, and Samaru Kataf.
These institutes are aimed at producing a technically skilled workforce and boosting employment opportunities for young people, aligning with Kaduna’s broader goal of becoming a hub for human capital development.
President Tinubu also flagged off critical road projects, including the 24km Kafanchan township road, the Tudun Biri road, and a 22km stretch connecting Kauru and Kubau Local Government Areas. These roadways are expected to ease transportation, enhance rural connectivity, and drive economic growth across the state.
In the healthcare sector, the newly commissioned 300-bed specialist hospital is set to serve communities across Kaduna’s three senatorial zones, improving access to medical care and alleviating pressure on existing facilities.

Additionally, the president launched a fleet of 100 CNG-powered buses as part of Kaduna’s clean energy transport initiative. The move is seen as a step toward sustainable urban mobility and reducing carbon emissions in the state’s public transport system.
Governor Uba Sani, who accompanied the president during the tour, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive development and thanked President Tinubu for his continued support of Kaduna’s transformation agenda.
