The exchange rate between the dollar and naira at the black market, also known as the parallel market or Aboki FX, has remained relatively stable today, June 28, 2025.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that according to Bureau De Change (BDC) sources in Lagos, black market operators are buying the dollar at ₦1,570 and selling at ₦1,580 per dollar as of this morning.
These rates continue to reflect the high demand for dollars in the informal market, even as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) insists that it does not recognize black market transactions. The CBN has repeatedly advised individuals and businesses seeking foreign exchange to approach official channels through their banks.
