Rt. Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola, former Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly and Chief Host, declared the initiative as more than a political gathering.
“This is not a mere political gathering. It is a statement of intent—an unveiling of an army of vision, discipline, and delivery,” he said.
The structure comprises 937 coordinators and polling unit officers, each tasked with mobilizing at least 15 new voters, bringing the group’s targeted voter reach to 14,992.
In addition, the group has deployed 4,000 branded posters and 300 large-format streetlight banners along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, solidifying its visibility and influence.
MFA praised the dedication of key allies, including Chief Omolara Kazeem Kuku and Dr. Adetunji Taiwo, for their consistent support and financial backing. He emphasized the importance of strategy and consistency in electoral success.
“Elections are not won in the weeks before the ballot, they are won in the months and years of preparation. With the strength of our structure, victory is not a possibility, it is a certainty.”
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa expressed deep appreciation for the unprecedented support, commending the MFA Ambassadors for their commitment and organizational strength.
He reflected on the influence of mentors such as Alhaji Kashim and Alhaji Bode, acknowledging their pivotal roles in inspiring leadership in Ibeju-Lekki.
He recalled a personal encounter with Alhaji Bode, a respected finance expert, who encouraged him as a young student and praised his academic excellence.
Drawing parallels with the transformative leadership of Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew, Olowa emphasized that sustainable growth stems from deliberate planning and the sacrifices of visionary leaders.
“Thank you, Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola. This is not just about building a brand or business, it is about building a structure, just like our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu did.
You are grooming young men and women, directing them toward positive development, and that is commendable,” Olowa said.
He continued, “You have shown your loyalty to our party, the APC. What started in Ward E has now been extended across all the wards in Constituency I.
On behalf of myself, my running mate Hon. Isiaka Olatunji, and all APC councillorship candidates across Ward A to F, I say thank you. We will not betray this trust; we will work together to deliver impactful governance.”
Olowa further stressed the strategic importance of the upcoming election. “Though a local government election, it is bigger than just that. Ibeju-Lekki must prove its strength politically.
We contribute significantly to Lagos State’s GDP. It is time to reflect that strength in the polls.”
He highlighted the campaign’s target of 15,000 votes from the MFA structure alone, surpassing the total APC vote count in the last cycle in Ibeju-Lekki. He urged all supporters to deliver on the target.
Sharing his vision, Olowa reaffirmed commitment to the SHIEELD agenda, focusing on Security, Health, Infrastructure, Education, Environment, Local Economy, and Digital Governance.
“From day one, we will begin implementing programs that address the real needs of our people. The next four years will usher in unprecedented development.”
In his remarks, Alhaji Bode commended the MFA Ambassadors’ initiative, describing it as “a milestone in Ibeju-Lekki’s political organization and readiness.” He urged party members to translate the enthusiasm into electoral victory at the grassroots.
Also lending royal support was His Royal Majesty, Oba Waliu Abdulrasaq, the Onibeju of Ibeju-Land, who commended the initiative and called for unity among traditional rulers in the region to support progressive governance.
“I am proud of what I see here today,” Oba waliu said. “The kind of structure unveiled today by MFA Ambassadors is rare and commendable.
As traditional leaders, we must encourage our people to come out and vote massively. I urge all Baales and community leaders across Ibeju-Lekki to mobilize effectively and ensure APC’s victory.”
He further noted that Hon. Olowa’s administration had shown leadership that aligns with the values of peace, progress, and people-first governance, urging all stakeholders to sustain the current developmental momentum.
The event, also witnessed the public declaration of support by members of the opposition, Labour Party and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP),who officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
