Rep. Wale Raji took center stage on Saturday as he joined Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, APC State Chairman Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, and political heavyweight Alhaji Seriki Bamu at the Lagos East APC Mega Rally, a massive mobilization effort aimed at securing a sweeping victory in the upcoming July 12 Local Government elections.

Epe, Ikorodu, Somolu, Kosofe, and Ibeju-Lekki. With party flags waving, drummers beating, and chants of “APC! Progress!” echoing through the air, the mega rally was a bold demonstration of party unity, grassroots support, and political strength.
Rep. Wale Raji, representing Epe Federal Constituency, gave a stirring address that resonated deeply with the crowd.
“We have the numbers, we have the passion, and we have the results to show,” he said. “Let us now turn that passion into votes. Let’s make July 12 a landmark in the journey of grassroots transformation.”
The lawmaker, known for his effective representation and commitment to community development, reaffirmed his support for the APC Local Government candidates, urging party faithful to defend every vote and protect the mandate of the people.
“This is not just another election,” he continued. “It is about deepening democracy and ensuring that our communities get the kind of leadership that listens, delivers, and uplifts.”
Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, speaking to the gathering, praised the crowd’s energy and emphasized the importance of continuity in governance.
“When you vote APC, you vote for development, real, people-centered development. From roads to schools, markets to health care, our footprint is everywhere. Let’s extend that legacy to our local councils,” he said.
APC State Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, expressed confidence in the party’s dominance across Lagos East and commended the leaders for their unity of purpose.
“What we are witnessing here today is a family united. And a united house cannot be defeated. Lagos East is ready. APC is ready,” he declared.
GAC chieftain and revered leader in Epe Division, Alhaji Seriki Bamu, urged all party members to take ownership of the electoral process and remain vigilant during and after the polls.
“Victory is not given; it is earned and protected,” he noted. “We must all work together to secure every ward and every polling unit. APC remains the trusted choice for good governance.”
The rally also featured remarks from various council chairmanship and councillorship candidates, all of whom pledged to continue APC’s legacy of service delivery at the grassroots level.
