During the launch ceremony, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, described the project as a historic and significant documentation that honors the resilience, creativity, and patriotic spirit of Nigerians.
“This initiative presents a timely opportunity to reflect, project, and celebrate the values of resilience, innovation, and patriotism that define the Nigerian spirit,” Akume said.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary in charge of the General Services Office, Mallam Mohammed Sanusi Danjuma, Senator George Akume stated that the compendium will highlight Nigeria’s vast human potential and serve as a source of inspiration for young people to strive for excellence and deepen their commitment to national unity and development.
He also noted that the project will showcase significant government achievements and the efforts of 11 high-performing state governors. Other features of the celebration will include a national quiz competition, patriotic musical performances, exhibitions of creativity and innovation, and a music concert.
