EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a statement issued Thursday by his Director of Media, Michael Ohiare, from Lokoja, Bello described the posters as the handiwork of mischief-makers bent on creating false narratives around his political intentions.
Ohiare expressed shock over media reports suggesting that posters promoting Bello’s candidacy for the APC national chairmanship had flooded parts of the capital. He insisted that the former governor neither authorised nor sanctioned the production or circulation of such materials.
“No individual, whether directly or indirectly, has been permitted to print or paste any campaign poster in Yahaya Bello’s name,” the statement read. “Those behind this are clearly on another mission to embarrass and discredit him.”
He added that Yahaya Bello’s loyalty to the APC and President Bola Tinubu remains unshaken, describing him as a committed party man whose support for the current administration is unwavering.
Ohiare further stated that this is not the first time political detractors have attempted to use fake posters to drag Bello into controversies. However, this time, the silence would no longer be maintained.
“They are at it again, having failed on many fronts in their desperate ‘bring-him-down-at-all-costs’ mission,” Ohiare said. “We call on the public and party stakeholders to disregard these acts of mischief.”

The statement reaffirmed Bello’s commitment to the progress of the APC and the unity of its leadership.
