Chairmen of the 57 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Lagos State have elected a new set of executive officers to lead the Conference of 57, the umbrella body for all council chairmen in the state.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the body which strengthen coordination and collective governance among council leaders has Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government emerged as Chairman of the executive committee.

Organising Secretary: Hon. Yisa Abiola Jubril (Iba LCDA)
Financial Secretary: Hon. Adeola Adetoro (Eti-Osa LGA)
Public Relations Officer: Hon. Adebayo Olasoju (Isolo LCDA)
Legal Officer: Hon. Moyosore Ogunlewe (Kosofe LGA)

The new leadership is expected to provide strategic direction, foster unity among the councils, and work closely with the Lagos State Government to deliver grassroots development across the state.
The Conference of 57 serves as a platform for policy dialogue, experience sharing, and coordination among chairmen of the 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs in Lagos.
