Hon. Monsuru Akinloye, Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), was officially sworn in for a second term in office on Sunday, July 27, 2025, amid excitement and jubilation across the council area.
Ekohotblog reports that the ceremony attracted dignitaries, party stalwarts, and residents who came out in large numbers to celebrate the continuation of his administration.

Speaking at the occasion, APC Vice Chairman of Lagos East Senatorial District, Yeye Olayinka Olusanya, described Hon. Akinloye as a grassroots politician whose excellent performance in his first term earned him a renewed mandate.
She encouraged him to continue the good work and deliver more development and progress to the people of Eredo.
Also lending his voice, former Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Otunba Adelaja Omolaja, praised Hon. Akinloye’s leadership, saying:
“I don’t know how best to describe the chairman other than to say he is a worthy leader who has brought succour to the people of Eredo and will continue to do even more.”
In an exclusive interview, Hon. Monsuru Akinloye reflected on key projects and programs implemented during his first term. He assured constituents that what they had witnessed was only the beginning, promising even greater developmental strides in the years ahead.
