“Writing 107 Days felt like living the campaign in reverse,” she wrote. “Rewinding each moment and experiencing it all over again.”
The book promises an unfiltered account of her time on the trail far beyond the headlines, debates, and televised appearances. According to Harris, it’s not simply a political recap, but a personal narrative filled with reflections, pressure, and political stakes.

She dives into what it meant to be the first Black and South Asian woman to lead a major U.S. party’s presidential ticket, following President Joe Biden’s unexpected exit from the race.
“This book is not a recap of our race,” Harris explained. “It is a candid and personal account of my journey the shortest presidential campaign in modern history.”
Simon & Schuster describes the book as a “page-turning account” that offers “surprising and revealing insights” into the behind-the-scenes workings of a modern campaign. CEO Jonathan Karp called it “one of the best works of political nonfiction” the publisher has ever produced.
Adding a personal touch, Harris will also narrate the audiobook version herself.
With the official release set for next month, 107 Days is already gaining attention as one of the most anticipated political memoirs of the year.
