Honorable Wale Raji, Member of the House of Representatives representing the Epe Federal Constituency, has fulfilled a long-awaited dream for the people of Oko-Abe with the facilitation of a modern secondary school in the community.

For decades, Oko-Abe residents struggled without access to secondary education, forcing parents to send their children to faraway communities such as Ibeju, Lakowe, and Oriba. This new school now brings hope and relief.
Hon. Wale Raji, while addressing the people, emphasized the significance of the initiative.
“This is only the beginning.
Our children deserve quality education, and I will continue to work tirelessly to ensure communities across Epe Federal Constituency are not left behind in development.

Education is not just about classrooms; it is about breaking the cycle of poverty, empowering families, and building future leaders.
By bringing this school to Òwu-Ikosi, we are not only opening Hon. Wale Raji, while addressing the people, emphasized the significance of the initiative.

He further explained the challenges many students had faced in the past.

Speaking at the commissioning, the Baale of Oko-Abe expressed deep gratitude.
“Secondary education has really been our major problem. Most parents had to send their children to other towns to access it.
Bringing this school to our doorstep is a blessing we will forever be grateful for. We promise as a community to take good care of it.”
The Baale also urged parents to take advantage of the facility, stressing that,
“Anyone who gives education to their children gives them a future.”
Also present at the event, Oba Ladaba praised Hon. Raji’s intervention and appealed for more infrastructural support to complement the project.
