The Member representing Epe Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly and Chairman of the House Committee on Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester, has reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development as he facilitated the upgrading and rehabilitation of Sikiru Musa/Nazareth College Road and Hon. Lanre Odubote Street in Ibonwon, Eredo LCDA.



Eko Hot Blog reports that speaking during the Stakeholders’ Engagement held on the project, Hon. Ogunkelu expressed appreciation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for approving the rehabilitation, describing it as a critical step toward easing transportation challenges in the area.

“I am deeply grateful to Mr. Governor for his commitment to grassroots development and for the timely approval of this laudable project,” Ogunkelu said.
He also commended the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, “for his continuous support and encouragement.”
The lawmaker further acknowledged the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), traditional rulers, and residents of Eredo LCDA for their steadfast support.
Addressing the contractor, Ogunkelu urged diligence and quality work. “I want to appeal to the contractor to work diligently and ensure quality delivery. The host community will give maximum cooperation and support,” he assured.
Speaking with the press after the engagement, Hon. Ogunkelu encouraged residents of Eredo and Epe Constituency II to participate actively in the Continuous Voters’ Registration (CVR) exercise.
“Participation is crucial in strengthening our democracy and supporting the visionary agenda of our amiable President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.
He pledged more dividends of democracy through effective representation, people-oriented projects, and continuous advocacy for community development.
“Together, with unity and commitment, we will continue to bring dividends of democracy to our people,” Ogunkelu declared.
