Eko Hot Blog reports that as part of his continuous commitment to supporting indigent members of the community and staff of the Council, the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Hon. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (RBK), has introduced the Community Support Garri Pack under the RBK Lekki LCDA Poverty Alleviation Initiative.

This special intervention, distinct from the Council’s monthly food alleviation program, provides garri to vulnerable residents and staff as a direct and practical form of relief.
By targeting one of the most consumed staple foods, the initiative ensures that immediate nutritional needs are met while reducing the economic strain on families.
Speaking during the launch, Hon. Kasali emphasized the importance of grassroots welfare in governance.
“The Community Support Garri Pack is not just about food; it is about giving comfort to our people in a time of need.
We will continue to explore innovative ways to make life easier for residents,” he said.

He further assured residents that more initiatives will be rolled out to cushion the effects of the current economic realities.
“This is a reflection of our vision of governance that prioritizes welfare, compassion, and grassroots impact,” the Chairman added.
