EKO HOT BLOG reports that the memorial was attended by tens of thousands, took on the tone of both a tribute and a political gathering, with emotional speeches and calls for unity.
President Trump described Kirk as “a towering figure of his time,” adding that the United States is “a country grieving deeply and in disbelief.”
Vice-President Vance praised Kirk’s legacy, saying he was “a man who redirected the course of history.”
