They were said to have attacked the victim after discovering that his bank account balance was lower than they expected.
According to the police, the arrests followed a distress call that a young man had been abducted from his residence in Ogwashi-Uku. Operatives later tracked the suspects to a bush in the area, where the victim was rescued with a gunshot wound.
Edafe explained that subsequent investigations led to the arrest of Nka and Okechukwu in neighbouring Anambra State, where the victim’s stolen white Toyota Venza was also recovered.
He added that further intelligence guided police operatives to Agidiase village in Ogwashi-Uku, where Chukwuma, the third suspect, was arrested.

The police also recovered the gang’s operational vehicle and a network jammer circuit device from their hideout.
The Delta Police Command assured that efforts are ongoing to dismantle kidnapping syndicates across the state and bring perpetrators to justice.
