The Association of Lagos State Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries (ALARHOSPS) has concluded arrangements to donate essential medical supplies to the Oke-Odo Primary Health Centre in Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the initiative, which also includes the repainting of the facility, is part of the association’s 2025 Annual Week Celebration scheduled to run from Monday, October 13 to Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Agbado Oke-Odo Council Secretariat on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the association’s representative, Mr. Fola Adeyemi, explained that ALARHOSPS is made up of retired senior administrators of the Lagos State Public Service who pool resources yearly to support community development.
“This initiative is our modest contribution to the well-being of Lagos residents and to the socio-economic growth of the state as the Centre of Excellence,” Adeyemi said.

He emphasized that the intervention would enhance healthcare delivery and improve residents’ quality of life, while also appealing for the cooperation of the council leadership to ensure the success of the programme.
Responding on behalf of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Jimoh Abiodun Isola, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Kehinde Shobayo, commended the association for its continued commitment to service and community welfare.
“We appreciate this thoughtful gesture from our retired senior citizens who have continued to contribute meaningfully to grassroots development, even after leaving public service,” Shobayo stated.
He further assured that the council would ensure the medical equipment is effectively used for the benefit of residents.
“The administration of Hon. Jimoh Abiodun Isola will continue to partner with organizations like ALARHOSPS in our shared commitment to make Lagos State a true Centre of Excellence,” he added.
