The fragile ceasefire has collapsed, leading to Israel carrying out a “wave of strikes” on southern Gaza as the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) and Hamas accuse each other of breaching the ceasefire.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that earlier today, the IDF reported that Hamas “fired an anti-tank missile and gunfire toward IDF troops” near Rafah, but the militant group denied knowledge of any such clashes.

Hamas stated that Israel “continues to breach the agreement”, while the IDF characterized the alleged attack as a “bold violation of the ceasefire.”

Separately, a doctor at al-Aqsa Hospital says nine Palestinians have been killed in central Gaza by Israeli air strikes on al-Zawaida and Nuseirat.
This renewed fighting stems from the 7 October 2023 attack, after which more than 68,000 people have been killed by Israeli attacks in Gaza, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.
