President Bola Tinubu has nominated Dr Bernard Mohammed Doro as a new minister representing Plateau State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the nomination follows the appointment of Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, the former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, as the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Yilwatda also hails from Plateau State.

Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga announced the development in a statement on Tuesday, noting that the nomination is subject to confirmation by the Senate. According to him, President Tinubu has already forwarded the nominee’s details to the upper legislative chamber for consideration.

Dr Doro was born on 23 January 1969 in Kwall, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State. He has over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning clinical practice, pharmaceutical management, strategic leadership and community engagement in both the United Kingdom and Nigeria.
