The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has started distributing sensitive and non-sensitive materials ahead of the November 8, 2025 Anambra governorship election.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the materials arrived at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Awka on Wednesday and were distributed on Thursday under the supervision of Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Elizabeth Agwu.

Dr. Agwu said early distribution would ensure timely delivery across all areas, adding that INEC was fully prepared for a credible and peaceful poll.






She urged voters to turn out in large numbers, assuring that every vote would count.
Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Abayomi Shogunle announced an increase in security personnel from 45,000 to 55,000 to ensure safety during the election.
INEC confirmed that 16 political parties will participate, with incumbent Governor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) seeking re-election.
