President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged Nigeria’s international allies to stand firmly with the country as his administration intensifies its campaign against terrorism and violent criminality threatening national peace and development.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the President made the call in a post on his verified X handle, @officialABAT, on Friday, reaffirming his administration’s unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism and restoring safety and dignity across the nation.

“We will spare no effort and leave no stone unturned in our mission to eliminate criminals from our society,” Tinubu said.
“We urge our allies to stand firmly with us as we amplify our fight against terrorism. We have made significant progress in the past two years, and we will decisively eliminate this threat.”
The President described security as a non-negotiable cornerstone of his Renewed Hope Agenda, vowing that Nigeria would not back down in its nearly two-decade-long war against terrorism.
“We will decisively defeat terrorism and claim victory in this battle. Security is non-negotiable, and we will never compromise on this principle,” he stressed.
Tinubu also reaffirmed Nigeria’s readiness to strengthen cooperation with global partners on security and economic development, pledging that the country would remain a reliable and steady voice for stability in international affairs.

“Nigeria will be, and remain, a reliable partner and dependable ally to its friends, and a steady voice for stability. We welcome the collaboration and support of our allies, friends, and partners as we strengthen both security and economic growth.”
He emphasized that his government’s diplomacy is driven by confidence, clarity, and purpose, adding that Nigeria is asserting itself responsibly on the global stage while confronting both internal and transnational security threats.
“We face challenges head-on and remain steadfast in our commitment to engage partners and champion Nigeria’s interests on the diplomatic front. We are confidently asserting our presence on the global stage,” he said.
The President also paid tribute to the armed forces and intelligence community, acknowledging their sacrifices and courage in safeguarding the nation.
“To the brave men and women of our armed forces and intelligence community who serve fearlessly and sometimes pay the ultimate price, we express our deepest gratitude. Your commitment is our strength in the fight against terror.”
Tinubu concluded with a message of hope, assuring Nigerians that his administration’s reforms will continue to deliver progress and prosperity for all.
“The task ahead is immense, yet our resolve is even greater. We will sustain and build on our reform gains and deliver a prosperous and inclusive Nigeria. With courage and the rule of law, we will triumph.”
