The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, who also serves as Chairman of Conference 57, was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Maruf Issa Olayinka.
Delivering the Chairman’s goodwill message, he commended the state government’s proactive approach to grassroots welfare, noting that such interventions reflect the inclusive vision of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
“Under the visionary leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, we are bridging the gap between policy and people,” he said.
“These palliatives are not just food items; they are lifelines for our pregnant mothers, ensuring they and their unborn children thrive.”

The distributed items included bags of rice, beans, eggs, and other nutritional supplements carefully tailored to meet prenatal dietary needs.
Beneficiaries were identified through community health centers and local civic networks to ensure fair and transparent selection.
The exercise forms part of the state’s broader strategy to strengthen family health, enhance food security, and support vulnerable groups across local government areas.
