The Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA) on Tuesday, 18th November 2025, held its 2026 Budget Stakeholders’ Consultative Forum at the Council Secretariat Multipurpose Hall, bringing together traditional rulers, community leaders, traders, youth groups, and residents to shape the fiscal direction of the coming year.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the forum was chaire by the Executive Chairman, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (RBK), alongside the Vice Chairman, members of the Legislative Council, and the Council Executive Committee.

The event recorded an impressive attendance of royal fathers including the Onise of Ise Land, the Oni-Lekki of Lekki, the Olosoroko of Osoroko, and the Adengbi of Lepia Kingdom. Baales from Magbon Segun, Olomowewe, Tiye, Ilege, Imobido, Idasho, Idotun, Okunraye, Folu, and Igbolomi were also present, alongside former council leaders, religious clerics, market women, youths, and other stakeholders.
During the interactive session, participants raised critical issues affecting their communities, covering Education, Security, Healthcare, Infrastructure Development, Drainage Systems, Market and Commerce, Human Capital Development, Traffic Management, Computer Literacy, Archival Record Keeping, and the need for increased indigene participation in government programmes.
Addressing the submissions, Engr. Kasali provided clarifications on ongoing and planned interventions across all sectors. He assured participants that “every contribution made today will guide our priorities for the 2026 fiscal year.”
Traditional rulers delivered goodwill messages, commending the administration’s commitment to participatory governance and urging the council to sustain its developmental strides.
Residents, youth groups, and traders also offered practical recommendations to enhance service delivery and socio-economic growth.
Engr. Kasali expressed deep appreciation to all attendees and reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to executing people-centered projects.
He emphasized that “our administration remains committed to inclusive governance, and the insights shared today will play a major role in shaping the 2026 budget.”
