Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has announced the successful completion of the reconstruction of Odogbawojo Road, marking another significant achievement in the council’s push for sustainable development under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the newly completed road now features solar-powered street lights, designed to enhance visibility at night, improve community safety, and support commercial and social activities within the area.

Speaking on the project, Hon. Akinloye said the reconstruction aligns with the administration’s commitment to providing quality infrastructure for all communities.
“Every project we undertake is aimed at improving the lives of our people. The Odogbawojo Road upgrade and installation of solar lights reflect our determination to build a safer and more connected Eredo,” he stated.
He appreciated the cooperation of residents throughout the construction process, adding, “We thank the good people of Odogbawojo for their patience and understanding. Your support made this achievement possible.”
Community members have also commended the council for the intervention, describing it as a long-awaited development that will boost mobility and enhance security in the area.
The council emphasized that the project is one of several strategic infrastructural upgrades being executed across Eredo LCDA.
