In his new role, which takes immediate effect, the Imo Governor will work alongside the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership and state governors to promote and communicate the programmes and achievements of the Tinubu administration.
As Renewed Hope Ambassador, Uzodimma—who also chairs the Progressive Governors Forum—will be responsible for fostering harmony, inclusiveness, and strategic coordination across all levels of the party. He will lead nationwide mobilisation and engagement efforts, working closely with other APC governors, who themselves will act as Ambassadors of Hope.
President Tinubu tasked Uzodimma and his colleagues with actively promoting the administration’s achievements since 2023. Some of the milestones highlighted include:

- Inflation has eased for seven consecutive months to 16.05 percent as of October.
- The exchange rate has stabilised, and foreign exchange reserves have risen to over $46 billion from $32 billion in 2023.
- Investor confidence has returned, with growth in both foreign direct investment and portfolio investments, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
- The stock market is performing strongly, and the economy is diversifying with solid minerals playing a key role.
- Over 700,000 students have enrolled under the government’s liberal educational loan policy.
- Nigerians now receive travel passports in less than a week.
In his message to Uzodimma, President Tinubu urged him to ensure that Nigerians are fully informed about the administration’s accomplishments and understand the impact of its policies.
